You noticed how many people are talking abou Arshavin so suddenly? I mean I'm not against it, anybody can talk about anything he wants but it's so obvious that people that never saw him playing , are now talking about him as they knew him all their life and are listing details as they were 'scouting' him since when he was eleven. Actually I'm not pointing at anyone, it's just I am a member of one big downloading forum and the people there are all crazy, ejaculating on Arshavin though they've seen him playing in 2-3 games, which somehow worries me.
This is the incredible power of the hyping up.
As for where will he go, I think it's quite obvious if Barcelona declare any interest in him, he'll go there replacing Ronaldinho.
Andrey has the talent to be the best player in the world, believe me, he's got one negative thing about himself - he's Russian, and it's not as "cool" as being some other nationality.
If the Barcelona talks will collapse , I think it's quite possible that he will stay at Zenit, maybe even Arsenal is in the game, because Wenger knows how to deal with players and he and Dick Advocaat are friends.
His wife, Yuliya said that she does not want to go to England because she dislikes it there, therefore a move to Spain looks even more realistic.
He was a big Barcelona fan when he was younger, told everybody that one day he will play there, but as he got older he got more committed to Zenit and stopped all this bollocky Barcelona hat-wearing during the Zenit trainings.
In the end, even if he leaves, i'll still admire/love him for what he has done for the Saint-Petersburgian football , he gave us 8 tremendous years full of great football.
Thank you, Andrey ! And good luck!
