As the beginning date of the new Premier League season approaches, lets talk about which club can break through, can break the top 4's dominance and get into the Champions League. For me, the favourites are Tottenham, simply because of their manager and the trades they've made. Everton are already three seasons on the verge of breaking through, but somehow they can't make, probably because of the width of their squad and the quality of the bench players. Man City have big plans but a dumb owner who thinks that money will bring immediate success but he forgets he does not have a Mourinho to gel a team. Pompey are playing sexy football but their home inconsistency will be a pain in their ass, and they haven't made any transfers so far so i can't see them moving upward or downward from the 6-7th position. What do you think? Who can break through? And who will be the suffering team that didn't do it from the top 4? The best odds are on Liverpool, me thinks, they need a fresh start with a new manager because this Spanish legion there is slowly fading away.

The way Liverpool and Arsenal are going, the breakthrough is just around the corner, and everyone must know now that Spurs and Everton are both going to breakthrough next season!

I'd say only the Spurs because Everton are quite passive in the 'transfer war', they have to strengthen a lot to be as consistent as the best teams in the world are ... Spurs are making great, absolutely wise and rational moves so far, I can't see how can they go wrong with it...

Oh yeah, forgot Tomrose wasn't on here, definitely only Spurs to break through, for now...

Spurs have made good signings but every year is "their year" to break through but they always fail. We'll have to wait and see how they play come Sept. They still need a goalie, another defender, and a def midfielder and a replacment for Berbatov if he goes.

I don't think we need a DM. Zokora has done really well defensively, and we've Huddlestone as good back up.
